Purpose:

Encourage middle and high school-aged women to consider careers in mathematics and the sciences. School teachers throughout Alabama are invited to bring their female students to participate in SK Day.

Emphasis:

Examine mathematics as you have never seen it before through hands-on workshops. Explore the endless possibilities with a career involving mathematics. Engage with a panel of successful, all female professionals who really use mathematics every day.

Cost:

There is NO registration fee for this event. Additionally, breakfast & lunch will be provided for all participants.
All students should be accompanied by teachers and/or chaperones with a ratio of 10 or fewer students to 1 chaperone.
