{\bf Abstract:}

The Rohlin Lemma is one of the fundamental results of ergodic theory. In this talk we will show how to use domino tilings of the plane to prove a generalization of this lemma for actions of $Z^d$. The talk will assume no previous experience or knowledge in ergodic theory.
